permit number - not visible anywhere on body, rickshaw driver refused to present it

usual fare - 40 - 45 (about 8 kms distance between Saki naka and Amar Mahal), fare on this day (18th June) around 10 pm was Rs.64.

Rickshaw driver refused to present license number, permit to drive and cab driver badge.

when asked to come to the nearby police station for registering a complaint, rickshaw driver mumbled some excuse and drove off.

usually like other forgiving mumbaikars, I would have overseen this and let him off with a stern warning, however this particular autorickshaw fellow was brash and did not see anything wrong with what he was doing, he boldly went on making statements about his lack of having a license, lack of permit and lack of knowledge of any such requirements to ferry passengers.
