N-6275 CDMA mobile set
Malfunctioning of above mentioned mobile set which was purchased on 1st Dec

I had purchased a mobile set (Make N - 6275 CDMA of Nokia) on 01.Dec.2008 costing around Rs.9200.00. Suddenly in the month of May problem started to crop up in my mobile as the phone used to disconnect or hang while I used to talk for longer duration. After regularly facing this problem I contacted Nokia Customer Care (Gurunanak Agencies, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand) on 25.06.09 but after checking the mobile they bluntly gave the reply that the problem was due to liquid logging in the moble. The personnel of Nokia Care Centre of Jamshedpur further said that the mobile can be repaired only on chargeable basis and that to without any warranty and amount for repair would be around Rs.2300/- approximately. On the above subject I would like to say that no where in the customer manual it is written that while carrying mobile in the pocket a person should try to save it from moisture since I am 100% sure that the mobile was never used carelessly nor there was any chance of liquid seepage from any other source. Your reply on the above matter is awaited or else after two week I would move to consumer court for redressal.
