Network Problem

Hello every one my self vikas.i have purchase my nokia N72 on 10 aprail 2008. on 1st july it hangs up and be come hot, after it i had switched off it when i have switch on it again it not detect any network some time it start normally some time showing some error (system error, temparory error, phone in offline) when i submit it to service center they told me that the phone is under water influence and short circuit happens in it whatever my phone had never dropped in water they told me that it will repaired after submitting service charge what to do plz help me...
