Fraudulent SMS

I have received an SMS which reads as follows:

"Congrats!!! You have won GBP 200, 000.00 in the ingoing 2009 Shell INT'L mobile draw. To claim,

contact Rev. Peter on Email:

spdcuk-claim09@live.com"

Now this happens to be a fraudulent SMS and I could make it out as soon as I received it. But I am very sure hundreds of other cell phone users must be receiving similar messages and they must be falling prey to it.

Now my request is that the service providers must either filter such messages if possible or at least inform the users about such messages.
