PAN Application Status

Dear Sir,

I have submitted an Application (No 015517380) in your Rahendra Place Franchise for PAN No through Coupon no025899198 with the name of Geetu Sarangal on dated 03.04.08 but the Status is not showing on net. I have personally contacted to that place last week but They have informed me that, they have misplaced ID of that Application, in that context, they would not be in position to process the Application. I havesubmitted the ID on the same day and request them to process the same on urgent basis. But today, I asked the status of my Application from Mr Sanjay and Mr Pathak, they have told me they have not processed the apllication because they don't have ID. I requested both of them please return my application in writing, they refused to do so and said I have said this application not be processed because i am saying. I was surprised t o know their extra ordinary power in that franchise. No other person of that premises go beyond their words and they are not informing me about their senior member.

Please advice in this situatuion what should do. Has he full authority of CBDT and No other person is resposible to handle the situation.
