Refusal and overcharging

Dear Sir / Madam,

Not only me but lot of people are facing problems with the auto drivers. Most of the time, these people refuse to take the passenger and chooses as per their convenience. They also charge more than what comes according to the meter. Daily i need to take an auto from Khirki and daily its a huge pain when i was struggling to get an auto for more than half an hour. If at all i got the auto they dont charge as per the meter but charge just double of that. The charges will be Rs. 27/- in case of meter but they normally charge Rs. 50/- for the same which is just the double. Same way nehru place to Khirki and all other parts of the delhi.

This is not with me, everyone is facing the same problem. but no one wants to get into any type of harrasment with these people so give watever they want. The autorickshaw is for public convenience but if they are not giving any services to the public than wat is the use for autorickshaw. These people never understands the urgency of the passengers, they had been given license for public services. so would request you to please look into the matter and pls. take some strict action against the auto drivers enabling smooth services to the public.
