Pass acceptance

Dear Sir,

Bus No.2997 from depot 16 starts from Vijayanagar to Bangalore GPO (PHS route) at 8.50 A.M. This route has a red board, although the bus plys well within the corporation limits. The rate charged in this trip is a rupee more thatn the other PHS buses plying in the same route at different timings. The conductor of this bus also does not accept black board pass and also student pass. Recently, a circular was issued by BMTC stating that black board pass holders can commute in Pushpak and Suvarna buses in the corporation limits. This is not accepted by most conductors as they have not received a copy of the circular. The same is the case with the conductor mentioned in the above bus route.

We would like you to take the following action:

1. The above mentioned route to have a black board.

2. Black board bus pass to be acdepted in the above mentioned route.

3. Circular may be issued to all bus depots and to conductors to accept the black board bus pass within city limits.

An early response in this regard will be highly appreciated.
