Irregular bus service- route 522

Hi,

I travel regularly by DTC bus route 522 (non-AC), from Khanpur to Gole Market in evening hours. Since last 1 and a half months, I along with co-passengers, have been suffering due to non-arrival of buses at a certain frequency. 522 green floor/ DTC buses arrive at an interval of more than an hour. This results in the following:

1. Irritation among the travelers of the route

2. Discontent among passengers

3. buses becomes overcrowded due to the large arrival gap

4. Most importantly, loss of faith on government services.

I also spoke to a few bus conductors of route 522, inquiring about the reason of the infrequent service. The response I got was, "DTC wale 522 ki duty nai lagate. Bas 419 ki duty lagate hain."

This response was quite acceptable as on an average, after about 8-9 route no 419 buses pass by, 1 route no 522 arrive.

Therefore, I request you to take the matter seriously and take some quick and necessary steps.
