Poor service and improper delivery taxes

Respected sir,
I am a resident doctor in Maulana Azad Medical college and reside in the campus only. I had ordered for a Navratra Veg Thali from Nirula's Food Delivery Services (Bill no- ORD-1226-608) on 28-3 at 8:30PM.Half an hour later i received a call from nirula's saying that they are finished wit their material to make navratra thali, hence they can not deliver but on talking to the manager of the branch (K Block CP) the problem was rectified and a reason of misunderstanding was given for the call. There after 30 min later i received a call from the same branch and the delivery boy was on the line and he said that i have to came outside the campus gate and he can not deliver in the hostel. I told him that its raining outside and the campus main gate is more than half kilometer from my hostel, but all in vain. He didn't even make me talk to the manager. Then he called me up 10min later from the campus main gate and told me to take the order. I went in rain to the main gate and took the order just to realize that nirula's has charged 12 Rps as delivery charges and convenience charges other than the sale tax. In the way my whole thali got wet in rain which was of no use to me and then on calling the customer care, i got no response. Rather i was told that they will call in 5 min. But i never got any call back or any explanations of why am i paying delivery and convenience charges to them. I wasted 158rps due to their poor services and careless employees.
Kindly tell me how a lesson could be taught to them or going into consumer court the only solution.
