Bus route 252 at SVP Nagar creates traffic congestion and unsafe condition for Bunglows that directly open on both sides of bus route

Dear Sir.

BEST Bus route 252 from Andheri station to SVP Nagar and back was started about five years ago for convenience of residents of SVP Nagar. At that time the road was not fully developed along Versova Telephone Exchange as well as behind Lokhandwala as at present. Further the traffic into the lanes was less, although the Bunglows on both sides used to open directly on to the road and cars used to be parked on both sides of the two way route of 252.

Now the whole place has become congested due to commercial establishments. There are half a dozen schools and many institutions. besides traffic of large number of cars, rikshaws, vans and buses. This has leads to traffic jams and noise pollution several times daily. The situation is worse in monsoons as your BEST Bus Drivers will inform you.

I therefor request you to either change the route slightly so that BEST Buses can ply only on the larger road adjoining the Telephone Exchange, without entering the congested road, or else the Buses can easily ply one way and use the road behind and cover even the circle just outside and behind Lokhandwala.

Please give due consideration to my request which was given to your officials formally by the Bunglow owner"s Assocition some time back long before the road at the other end was constructed.
