I had given my mobile phone Nokia N-70 Music to Green Park Nokia Service Center for a minor repair (i.e problem in charging) on 15/07/08. According to the job sheet, they had given me a repair date of 18/07/08. I visited there on the same date and it did not get repaired till then. They asked me to come again on 21/07/08 (monday), 28/07/08 (monday) and then 30/07/08 (Wednesday). And with fail, they gave me new date every time I visited there. Finally on 30/07/08, they told me that the fault is irreparable and asked for Rs 110 for service charge.
And now there is new set of problems after it came from repair center. Now hands free icon is displayed on the screen and i can never hear or talk from it.
I had never expected all this from a brand name Nokia. My cellphone is not even that old and if Nokia handset gets faulty and irreparable in every 2 years, than I will never ever buy or suggest a Nokia handset to anyone. The service at the Green park service center was irritating and 9 of 10 customers were dissatisfied with their service. With a brand Nokia, nobody expects this kind of service and its shameful of you (HCL guys) to work with Nokia and bring down its brand name. I would like to reach out to concerned authorities (may be also to consumer court) and will make sure that others get to know about problem faced by Nokia mobile users. NOKIA SUCKS BIG TIME..
