We have purchased flat in the building called 'Oberoi Woods' which is part of the prestigous 'Oberoi Garden City' being developed by the renowned builder of Mumbai - Oberoi Constructions.

The builder has delayed completeion of the project much beyond the deadline of December given in the agreement. He has not bothered to provide any explaination to us for the delay. He has now started giving the possession of flat but without electricity and water. Further, he is demadning additional Rs. 1, 80, 000/- over and above what has been originally agreed upon in the agreement. He is also insisting on giving him bank guarantee in recpect of service tax and VAT which is still under dispute and not payable.

He is holding back the possession of flats unless we meet all his unreasonable demands. He has already started charging the maintainance from 1st June.
