Will someone in an authoritative position in the Communications ministry of INDIA please shut down the Reliance WIMAX Broadband Internet?? the entire service is a sham!! even after reading a million blogs and for forums on the inefficiency and failure of the Reliance wimax services we, at Oberoi Multimedia Limited had subscribed to it and have been trying to use the same for the past 3-4 months. we had some amateur idiots from reliance come for installation and it took them 4 days to finally connect us and then after fifteen days we found out that the subnet given to us was wrong. after umpteen calls to their Call-Center (ha ha ha!!!) someone comes and with great difficulty and after making a million calls set it right. again after a few days their "SS" antenna on our office building terrace had some snag and again we were back to calling every number that we cud find to just get it right. this has become a regular affair and i have found out that this Wimax Service from Reliance is faulty all over. On 29-1-09 i made a complaint again to the reliance wimax call-center (ref id:-87435087) and i was assured that the problem will be resolved.nobody has come to our office to service our complaint till date. today morning (2-2-09) i spoke to one Amit at the call-center and he was the rudest executive that i have ever come across. all our work happens from the net. publications and channels are given the data they need via ftp or mail and the 1 Mbps connection from reliance wimax was taken for that purpose and the losses we have incurred due to the callous and incompetent Reliance wimax service is tremendous. i, Santosh Pillai, C.T.O. at Oberoi Multimedia Limited want u people at the Indian Consumer Complaints Forum to please look into the matter and help us recover damages that reliance wimax has caused us. ever since the connection was taken we have had down times and inconsistency approximately every 4 days till date.
