Looting People with unnecessary high bills and very very bad servicing

I had give my Indica V2 DLS for servicing on 8th Nov at Om Sai Motors Pvt. Ltd. Kandivali (W).

I was told very high charges for servicing because Steering Rack Assembly needed to be replaced which itself caused 11, 500/-

But after servicing we found faults/problems at some other areas including this steering thing. Since this Indica V2 is having Power Steering and after replacement also it is not that smooth and it looks like it is not a Power Steering anymore.

Also as always these people taken out more than 5 liters of the Diesel and when inquired they couldn't give proper explanation. I also told them that this looting of Diesel is very common from Om Sai Motors to which the person did not say anything and just kept quite.

3 days after the servicing I received a call from Om Sai Motors for inquiring the quality of the service, to which I answered all his questions as below:

Q1. How was the service? Are you satisfied with the service?

Ans: service was very very bad and am not at all satisfied with the service.

Q2. Why is it so? All your problems are solved or not? Or were there any new problems created after the service?

Ans: First of all why do we prefer Authorized dealers? Because we trust that though it will be expensive but the original parts and diesel will not be removed. I was charged 11, 500/- only for the steering rack and still its not that smooth. Also it makes noise while driving.

I was told that there is problem with Alternator belt and is making noise and will inform you if the change is required. As per the invoice it was changed without informing me and now also it makes noise when accelerated.

When the dickey is opened the car breaks down which is also a new problem. Also it seems the car wheels are not rotated.

Q3. Did they charge the same amount or more than what was told you after the inspection of the car?

Ans: They quoted approx.19000/- or less and the bill was given of 22784/-

Q4. If you were charged more than the actual figure then were you informed well in advance about the same?

Ans: NO. We were not informed for the change in the amount.

Q5. Did you get the car delivery on time? How long you had to wait?

Ans: NO. I was told to collect the car at 4.00PM but then also I called up at 4.30PM and confirmed whether the car is ready or not and I was told on the phone that I will get the call in next 5 minutes. I waited for more than half an hour but did not receive any call and I went at the service center deciding not to call again. At the service center I was told that I still have to wait for some more time and had to wait at least for 45-50 minutes.

Q6. At the time of car delivery was the car ready? Was it Wet or dry?

Ans: As I said the car was not ready and in fact I was able to see that they were facing problems while starting the car. Because after the start of the car it was immediately breaking down. And this was not the problem when I had given the car for servicing.

Also they did not clean the car from inside and it was very wet at the foot-rest.

After the questions this guy from Tata Motors/Om Sai Motors told me that he will definitely forward these complaints to the responsible person and they will get back to me at the earliest. And I should expect a call from them within next 3 days. Its now more than 10 days I have yet not received a single call from either Om Sai or Tata Motors.

Its not at all worth to buy vehicle from Tata Motors and worst to give your vehicles for servicing at Om Sai Motors.
