Boarding Point Change

I booked one ticket from TRTR to MAS on exact one month back and date of journey is on 14/12.Now i want to change the boarding point from TRTR to TCR due to some personal reason i changed my plan. As per railway rule i went to nearest railway reservation centre and give the boarding point change request. The person sitting there refused to accept my request and told me that both are different quota and cant able to change that one. He suggested me that i have to go TRTR to change the boarding point. If it possible to go TRTR then why should i change the boarding point. I explained I couldnt able to go that palce thats reason i wanna change the boarding point. But he is not accepting that one. Could you please tell what should i do or else whats the correct procudre. Correct me if i am wrong or tell me thte correct way to gvive complaints or confess him.
