Illegal Sale of Duplicate Ray Ban Sunglasses

I am working in Kolkata and stay in Garia. A few months back I purchased a pair of Ray Ban Sunglasses from a reputed store in Golpark by the name- Optical House. I purchased the pair for 1650/- only, which by market rate, was a very cheap deal I thought.

A month later the right shoulder of the frame opened and I asked for a replacement. They did not have the same model available and showed me a replacement which costs higher and they wanted to charge for the difference. After a lot of argument for quite a few days they replaced it.

Now this piece was fine for a couple of months but recently the frame started to get discoloured and aquire rust. My friends are using Ray Ban Sunglasses for more than a year and that never happened to anyone because these frames are not ordinary metal frames but high quality alloys. Also I always washed my glasses everyday to avoid the same.

Secondly, the "Ray Ban" mark in the top right corner never gets deleted. This one did. Also the original appearance of the lens did not remain the same.

I went to the store to clarify the same and the person there started saying that "you don't get a Ray Ban for 1650/&-quot;..."these are Hong Kong made ones and therefore cheap". " These are not the original ones from USA" and bla bla bla.

I asked him that if this is not an original piece, why did he not inform me at the time of buying. To this he very rudely answered- "are you buying sunglasses for the first time? You never asked and therefore we did not say that to you."

Now the person is not ready to refund the money nor will he replace it with an original piece of another make of similar value. I am in a fix as what to do.
