Sending of friend request

Sir, i am facing two problems . first is that whenever i send any friend request it doesnt approach to other person.second is that in my profile i am nt bable to see who is online.it is nt showing the sign of availability.due to this i am facing a lot of problems . please solve it as soon as possible.i l be thankful to u.
