Passport not renewed given in 2008

With due respect, i had submitted my passport for renewal in 2008.it is not returned to me .please solve my problem as soon as possible.my police verification is through police chowki verka (thana sadar). i frightened that somebody else is using my passport.

passport renewal private person have allotted me refernce number w/055031 . i have visited paasport office twice but no response is given to me.what is the reason behind this?? i am waiting for ur answer?
