Damage to car during transit and cheque bounce

Dear Sir,

i had sent my car from chandigarh to secunderabad through aggrawal packers an movers in dec. The car was delivered to me in jan at secunderabad in a damaged condition. i brought this to the notice of the company and theeir surveyor assesed the damage and promised me a compensation of Rs 2500. But inspite of my repeated reminders and phone calls on which i spent considerable amount and energy, company failed to give me compensation for full 1 year. This year in march they sent a cheque for Rs 2500 of HDFC bank, which when i deposited to the bank bounced. Thos act of the company has resulted in great harrasment and mental stress and financial loss to me. Now i want to claim damages from the company for my harrasment and bouncing of the cheque. I want to claim damages for Rs 50000 for all this. Pl advice
