Elevator with inherent manufacturing fault

We are the resident of Shivam Tower Block B, AC-388 Krishnapur Main Road, Kolkata-700102, near Milan Bazar. The Elevator was installed July07 without any formal handover to us and without any operational training. There is no safety cerficate from the Govt of West Bengal. The said Elevator has failed 20 times in last 11 months and since yesterday it was non operational. We had been repeatedly asking Pace Elevators to replace the complete unit since it is of inferior quality and any time it can cause fatal accident.

The proprietor of the firm Mr. Nikhil Nandi (9830169610, 9830664283, 2241-1572) now not willing to get the elevator even repaired in free of cost and forcing us for AMC. We are not even aware of the warranty policy since there is documents handed over to us through our Promoter Mr. Shankar Saha (9831807898). We have borne the cost of this Elevater and we cannot continue with defective, untested piece which can put our life in danger any moment.
