IMPROPER SUPPLY AND IRRESPONSIBLE ATTITUDE TOWARDS SUPPLY OF GAS CYLINDER

Dear sir,

I am Prof. K.R.Srinivasan, residing at 14/1, 7th street, kovalan Nagar, Madurai-625003, Tamilnadu. I have two cylinders of Indane, registered with the above dealer for more than a decade.

Every time when booked through phone, they did not answer properly and they disconnect the connection immediately. They do not give the waiting number also. I hope you know that it is not possible every time to go in person to book for a cylinder. Even if informed that the supply will be within five days they do not supply. After waiting for two more days, when approached they register as fresh one. This not the first time I am facing this problem and I face every time.

Problems that are complained so far are:

1.About refusal to change leaking faulty regulator which was an urgent problem. This was rectified after complained to regional office, Madurai.

2 Sometime back the cylinder was supplied to somebody and after waited for more than four days again complaint was made to the regional office and then only cylinder was supplied.

3. Every time I have to remind them about this. Is it my duty? Is it not their responsibility?

There is irregularity in their supply.

Last time only I received the cylinder correctly.

This time I booked for the cylinder on 12-08-08 over phone. I was informed that cylinder would be supplied in five days. But till on 22-08-08 I did not receive the cylinder. Again my daughter went in person today, she was told that as the computer was out of order, the information was not entered and the booking was made as a fresh one.

My question is

1.Whether will not have hard copy if the system is at fault?

2.Why they have not entered after the system was corrected?

3. If today if not approached in person my bookings will not be registered?

My doubt is that the distribution system is not proper.

Though have two cylinders, only one cylinder is supplied every month. If it is purposely delayed then the hardships faced are lot. The days are changed and we cannot use wood as fuel. Even if prepared there is no time also.
