Passport application not yet processed
Passport not yet received-7 months over from date of submission

Dear Sir,

We have submitted the application form on 20-09 and passport File Reference Number: HYD-H001869-08. Its more than 7 months from date of submission but still the passport has not been processed. No boby is able to confirm the status. Indian passport authorities seems to be in dire situation. I strongly feel they need immediate help.

The Passport officer has asked us to submit the PFP forms three times and in the last 4 months I have personally gone and submitted the PFP forms but still the passport file status has not changed on the web site nor our police station at current residence received any PFP forms for verifications. We are unable to understand why it takes more than 7 months in India to receive a passport where as all otherr countries its done in 10 days it seems. Why the passport verification forms not getting dispatched to local police station.

This is really funny and my husband would be travelling this year unless the passport office shows some consideration to provide me with the passport I will not be able to fly with my husband and kid. This is attrocious, utterly frustrating but still we are not able to do any thing as there is no access to any of the RPO officers... they sit in A/C built and salaries paid through the taxes which my husband pays still we don't have access to them no proactive/reactive customer service is shown. I don't think they ever treat us in this life as customers. we submit letters and PFP forms to passport office hyderabad - AP but no acknowledgement is provided.

Its shame that we keep saying India shining and India shining but I guess in reality we are seeing hell in India every day due to these bada babus. Sorry to use strong statements but its really frustrating.
