Delay in police verifecation

Sir,

I have applied for my passport in may 08 and submitted my details needed by local police officials but till the date i have not received my passport because as per passport office my police verifecation report yet not submitted while i had submitted it in august 08.

Please not my police verification is done by Mr. Sachin Kumar sub-inspecter posted at amousi airport.
