Police verification not yet done

Sir,

I have applied for the renewal of my passport on 05 Nov and the file ref no is CAL-B025193-08. I enquired from the passport office and came to know that the required police verification report has not been received yet, although the Parsonal particulars form was sent to SP DIB 24PGS-S on 12/11/08. One of my friend, who has applied for the renewal of his passport on a later date, has already received his renewed passport.

I have not yet contacted from anybody regarding the required police verification.

I would like to request you to look into the matter and take necessary action for the same.
