Delay in verification

Hi,

I had submitted the passport application on 6/04.File Number: W03052309.

I was told that the police verification will be done within or after 15 days of application submission. But till now it has not happened. The status of passport is shown as police verification not received. Will i get the passport in the prescribed time (30-45days) in this case.what should i do to get the passport in time?
