I submitted my passport on 5-2-09 at Jaipur. The status of my passport on the jaipur passport office site says my passport was ready on 12-02. Till date i have not received my passport. Despite repated mails and registered lettere there is no response from the passport office. For customer convenience they have given telephone numbers which they never pick up. If a passport was ready in feb why the delay. All formalities, police verification was completed in March but still no sign of my passport. WHO SHOULD BE CONTACTED FOR INFORMATION AND STATUS OF MY PASSPORT. This is sheer harrasment to people like us who have to stand 5 hrs in the heat to apply for passport and then for months no information about passport. I THINK SOME ACTION SHOULD BE TAKEN.
