Police verification on passport issue

I am lokesh, i have applied for the passport in the month of jan when i applied i was at my native place, after that i migrated to bangalore for searching the job on my career . when police verfication is carried at my native place, at that time i was in bangalore . after that i didnot get any status of my passport issue... please can any one suggest for the next preceedence to get the passport and my problem???
