Delay of passport

I am a Non resident Indian residing in Dubai. My brother has applied for PASSPORT RENEWAL on 5 FEBRUARY. The police verification has taken place on 25 February. He has done his renewal from Coimbatore Passport office. He is staying in Pollachi.

I have a doubt that whether the passport renewal takes such a lot of time. It has already 66 days for the renewal and yet it has not yet been received. I have no idea why it takes such a long period to send him the passport. I think his vacation will become nil at that time he receives his passport.

His status in the online is " 2 nd April it is supposed to be despatched."

I wonder why it has been 9 days and yet it is not received. If you are not sure about the despatching date or any delays, please update the same in your online software also.

If the information in online is correct, then why your despatching department has not done their duty?

Why are they holding the passport. We are in abroad and really we are really feeling pity for the passport system and their responsibility and sincerity.

Kindly send us the passport soon. Iam not sure as to whose is responsible for such delay yet my request is to all of you concerned with this complaint. we lost our patience and then only we have complained on your system.
