Non-receipt of passport

Hi,

We applied for a passport in name of my 1 yr old son on Jan 30, '09, from Faridabad. The file ref# is M002160.

The police verification was done around 15th Feb, and report despatched from Faridabad police headquarters on 4th March. However, till date the status is showing "Application pending for want of police report". There is no way to speak to the passport office, as they don't pick up phones, nor respond to e-mails. Also, as I read in other complaints, there is no point going to Bhikaji Cama office, as even there they don't seem to respond properly.

Pls help, as it is already more than 4 months.

Due to this, we are apprehensive in geeting our address change incorporated in our passports, as they may also get stuck!
