Nor receiving of Passport

I submitted application on 06-May, for change in my surname after my marriage. My File no is JPRH00566708. As per instruction mentioned on Passport information booklet and website (https://passport.gov.in/) I submitted my marriage certificate issued by Registrar of Marriage along with affidavit as per annexure “D” on non judicial stamp paper.

In this regards I received a letter on 17-07 regarding submission of affidavit on judicial stamp paper.

As per “point (ii) of (a) of (B) of Section IV – Documents to be attached with the Application of Passport Information Booklet, ” I have to submitted an attested copy of marriage certificate issued by Registrar of Marriage or an affidavit from the husband and wife along with a joint photograph. I submitted both the document.

Till today I have not received my passport after change in my surname. In this regard I send various e-mail on this e-email address rpo.jaipur@mea.gov.in but I did not received any reply regarding this.

Kindly do the needful.
