Extraordinary Delay in Issuing Passport

It is very strange that for the last 02 months status is same and no action is being

taken to issue passport without any further delay.

I sent mail to RPO lucknow on 10/10/09 but did not received any response till 20/10/09. Then sent a mail to Joint Secretary (CPV) & Chief Passport Officer,

Ministry of External Affairs on 20/10/09.

Following mail was sent from APO (PG)

to rpo.lucknow@mea.gov.in

Necessary Action please.

For APO (PG)

on 20/10/09. But till date no action has been taken and status is same as it was before 03 months.

I have applied for 03 nos.passports to Regional Passport Office, after completing

All formalities to Lucknow for further processing on 21/07/09.

I had sent a Mail to Mr. Zahur H. Zaidi, Regional Passport Officer, Lucknow on 10/10/09 on this issue but

Till date I have not received any response from his office.

Sir, I would request you to kindly look into the matter and arrange issuance of the same at the earliest.

Application forms at Allahabad and same have been forwarded to Regional Passport Office,

I am regularly checking status of above applications which is showing "Police Report has

Not been received" since last two months.

Earliest as I have to go to Nigeria to join my Husband there.
