Passport awaited

I applied for passport in Tatkal scheme in August and received it with spelling mistake. I re-send it for correction in september and still waiting for the passport. I visited passport office 10-12 times. Because I got job in Gurgaon and have re-located in Gurgaon, they are again going for police enquiry but neither any police inquiry has come uptill now nor I have received my passport back. My company wanted me to visit to U.S. and the official trip has been cancelled because of passport. Now, again I have got a chance to visit to U.S. for offical trip and I am still waiting for passport. I am having offical letters from my company on the name of passport office to issue me the passport urgently but the officers in passport office are not even bothering themselves to see it.
