Passport office New Delhi
Delay in passport

I have applied for passport of my son & wife on 2-Jul-09 & 23-Jul-09 respectively. But till today already more than one month time period, we have not received any police verification letter from passport office. Many times i have checked with local police station regarding any enqury from passport office for verification, but they told every time not yet.

Once I applied the passport of my wife in starting of this year i.e. in m/o Mar, that file was lost by passport office.

Pls guide me how to take over this problem.
