Delay in passport process

Sir,

I applied for a passport at COCHIN RPO on 20/08 which got transferred to BANGALORE RPO on 23/09. At enquiry counter of bangalore RPO I came to know that the file haven't reached yet and also asked me to wait for intimation letter from bangalore RPO. But no intimation still now. I would like to know, what will be the next procedures to be followed to attain the passport.
