NOT RECEIVING WELCOME KIT FOR NEWLY OPENED ACCOUNT

Sir,

1. I opened my pension saving account No. 432010100110723 at Axis Bank Ltd., LIC Building, Jagadhari Road, Ambla Cantt (Haryana) about nine months ago but have not yet received my welcome kit containing my ATM/debit card and cheque book etc.

2. On inquiring, they replied that welcome kit was sent to my communication address ie ADG PP, Army HQ, 921, Sena Bhavan, New Delhi - 110105, through courier, twice but I have not received that. On 06 Jun 08, I re-applied for my ATM/debit card and cheque book. On inquiring to Customer Care Services, I was replied again that the said documents were again sent to me through courier which again I have not received and return. They further intimates that the welcome kit containing my cheque book and ATM/debit card is destroyed after one month, as per the existing rule. I have categorically intimated to Miss Jaspreet Kaur, the dealing lady at Ambala Cantt branch, to send me the said documents through registered post, to avoid any lapse in future.

3. My welcome kit may now please be sent to me at MOD EC Axis Bank Ltd. Office of CAO & JS (Trg), E Block, New Delhi -110105 where I have my salary account. Please help me out as I am going on pension and I would be unable to withdraw my pension in the absence of my cheque book and ATM/debit card.
