Uncovered Drains

Dear Sir

I am a resident of N-Block Malviya Nagar, New Delhi. We had a perpetual problem of water flooding during rainy season and otherwise also as there were no storm water drains. On persuation with RWA and our councillor, Mrs Mudita Gupta, the work of laying the storm water drain started but it was left in between as can be seen in the attached photographs. The entrance to our houses are in shambles and with my old parents I am always worried of their falling down when moving in or out of house. Through your newspaper I would like bring this pending work to the notice of the authorities and request them to finish their work so that we can finally get the entrance to houses in shape. Also the laying of drains on the opposite sides have not yet started and the water from their houses are still flooding the streets. Regards
