Cut in Govt. Excise Duty & Service Tax

Hon. Petroleum Minister for Centre and State

The Govt. of India has reduced in Excise duty and Service Tax from 24/02 from 10.30% to 8.24% in the chemicals the same has to be affected in the case of Petrol and Petroleum Products. However accordingly the retail price of Petrol and petroleum products has not been reduced to that extend I therefore request you to intervain in the matter and guided by Authority Officer or by the Ministry to take the decesion immediately since almost one month has passed.

I am sure that you will take suitable action immediately.
