Puppy bought from Pets Mart - died within 14 days

I bought a puppy from Pets Mart in Gopi Nath Bazaar, Delhi Cantt. He came to our house on 1st Dec'07.

When we bought him, the owner Mr. Pankaj Walia told us that de-worming needs to be done. We did that next day. From 2nd dec'07 onwards he just stopped eating and started puking and his stool was full of blood.

I called Mr. Pankaj, he said it happens after de-worming. Since I told him that he is feverish as well, he aked me to give him crocin.

On 3rd Dec'08, I took the puppy to a vet close by Dr. Mitra and he saw the dog and told us that he has an enlarged liver and is suffering from Parvo virus and will be difficult for him to survive for long.

That very day we took the dog back tomr. Pankaj and told him what happened. he said the puppy is fine and he will ensure that he recovers within 3 days.

Pankaj did not agree to any of the diagnosed problems told by Dr. Mitra. We also got his X-Ray done and then it was prooved that he had an enlarged liver. The dog was kept in his clinic from 4th Dec'07to 14th Dec'07 and he passed away on 14th.

We were not given any papers of what vaccinations he has been given or not, which is ideally handed over on the day we buy the pup.

He is not ready to give a replacement or give the money back (Rs. 9500). I would need help in this.

Please help me resolve this.
