Delay in transfer of PF Fund

I have submitted my application for PF withdrawal with my employer in Sept' 08 for my PF A/c bearing number DL/23859/13319.

In March first week I received a CC letter from PF Office Delhi stating that they have dispatched cheques in favour of my account to HDFC Bank, however, when contacted with the branch office it seems they never received the cheques. (The address of the Bank Branch on the letter was correct)

The letter stated that the cheques were mailed on 27th Feb whereas, they have not yet been received by the bank yet as of 22 April. As per the information I received from the Bank this is usual practice by the PF Office and the cheques are delayed as long as 15 days now its over a month and the cheques haven't been received.

Can someone please guide me about the same?
