The dealer not replacing the CFL under warranty

The CFL purchased on 5th April from M/S Ganguly Electrical outlet on S P Mukherjee Road, in south Kolkata did burst after glowing for sometime on 27th April and the CFL came out of the holder and fell on the floor. Fortunately no bodily injury was caused as this has happened distance away. The Holder was found intact and another bulb was put on and found working OK.

The dealer did not entertain request for replacement though the same was under warranty with a committment of replacement within one year.
