I had applied for broad band connection at Customer Service center Jayanagar and before giving connection in October a detailed letter was given to SDE Ms Nagarathna opting for Home UL 900 Plus scheme and Modum on Out right Purchae. On the same day SDE in my presence faxed the letter to Commercial Oficer.

Even though I had opted for 900 Plus scheme, i received a bill for the period 01/11 to 30/11 charging fixed monthly charges of Rs 180/ and coninued to get bills for rent. From the day the bill was received I was trying to conact the bill enquiry number and public grievance numbers given in the bill, but both the numbers never worked, then I tried the numbers of Vijayanagara billing section JP nagar Chief Accounters Officer Phone number 22448700, the officer expressed his inability to correct the bill and asked me to approach the commercial officer of JP Nagar for correction. I failed to contact the officer as the officer never attended to calls made to his official Telephone number given in the latest Telephone Directory. Then I tried BSNL Web site and sent a detailed letter to e-mail address given in the Web site but I never received any reply and finally I approched Commercial Officer in person and gave a detiled letter on 16/4/08.

Now instead of adjusting my excess paid rent I was shocked to receive a bill for Home UL750 ANNUL charges for 01/08 to 31/03, even though the rent for the year was paid in advance in April Bill. No 1017252211 dated 07-05-08.

As my bills are paid through ECS scheme, Iam not able to keep the amount for excess billing. I request you to trace my original letter and adjust excess paid rent amount and to correct August 08 bill immediately and intimate Bank authorities, If no reply is received I am thinking of going to Consumer Court and Publish this letter in the News papers regarding excess billing compliant.
