Double payment of LIC Policy number 511528649

I am have ving one policy with your branch having the policy no. 511528649 [Plan / Term - 107/ 20] . I have linked ECS payment of this policy through ICICI Bank. It was due for March'08. Since I am registered with LIC's website also, I made payment directly to you vide transaction no. PR2123449400030607 dated 13/03 alongwith two other policies of mine as the receipt was required for Income Tax purposes.

In between, I had asked ICICI not to pay premium as I had already made payment to you directly thru internet. It is utter dismay that LIC again instructed my bank for the payment and premium for said policy was paid from my account on 09.05.08 without any enquiry.

I, therefore, request you to kindly look into the matter and refund the payment to my account immediately as same premium has been taken twice from me. Appreciate your early and prompt action.

My bank is not taking interest rather they have asked me to contact LIC for this.
