Non receipt of cheque

I had taken 2 LIC Policies : (1) Policy No. 4500820556 in my name & (2) Policy No. 450082055 in the name of my wife Smt. Manju Atri. Subsequently because of personal reasons these policies could not be continued and be4came lapsed. While trying to get the amount back (as admissible) on continuous follow-up I was told that the amount of Rs.24, 157/- and Rs.4, 598/- has beent sent, which I have not received. Now on enquiry I have been told that these cheques have been returned back and need revalidation. LICI Office, Jalpaiguri is only making objections that has resulted in undue delay and it is not known how the cheques have been returned back. It is requested to kindly look into the matter and direct the official concerned to send me the amount due at the earliest, at my given address.
