Post office ppf head post office indore
My ppf deposit of Rs. 10000 not deposited in my ppf a/c

Dear Sir,

I had made a deposit of Rs. 10000/- in my PPF A/c No. 46687 with Head post office, Near Shrikrishna Talkies, M.G. Road, Topkhana, Indore. (M.P.) in Sept. 2006 by cheque. The post office issued me the receipt of the same. but at the same time they do not make entries in the pass book.

The cheque got cleared from my bank to the post master, HPO, Indore.

Now I went to get the entries in my passbook, I found that Rs. 10000/- deposited by me in sept. 2006 is not entered in my ppf passbook.

I contacted post office staff many time in last 15 days but they avoided even talking on this matter.

I have verbally came to know that they have entered this amount in some other account.

Kindly get the irregularity rectified and there must be advertisement in the newspaper on this subject.

The post office higher authorities must be aware that the post office deposit slip slip contains ppf account number and also the name of the account holder. When posting is made how the amount has been deposited in the wrong account why didn't the post office staff match the name as well as the account number.

It means either they keep their eyes closed in making entries or they are cheating the public on the goodwill of the central government.

Still I have not received any answer from the post office persons.

They would have made so many wrong entries in the account of the persons who has blind faith in post offices due to being a central government entity.

So in the local newspaper of the whole India, there must be a periodical advertise that check ur deposit and withdrawal entries in post office pass books and confirm from post office also.

Otherwise money of the genuine depositor may be withdrawn by any other person with the help of post office persons.
