Delay in connection of IGL

I have applied for new connection of IGL gas vide registration no. 661411. I have paid 2 cheques dt 28-07 bearing no. 623052 of Rs. 5000/- and 623053 of Rs. 1000/- drawn on Indian overseas bank, darya ganj, new delhi. You have issued receipt no. 9670 dt. 29.07.11 for the same.

The above-mentioned cheques have been cleared in August end itself from my bank account.

Now, almost 2 months has gone and we have not heard any thing from your side to install the connection till date. The line of your gas is on our residence itself and there is no special line required to give us the connection. i am not able to understand the reason for the delay in giving connection.
