Dishonest Billing For Cancelled Service-Peoplepc Ripoff

I signed up with peoplepc cause i c'd not afford the other expensive IS providers. that was what i c'd afford. A few months later, fm jan to about nov same yr, i cancelled the service to take care of more important needs in my life. i spoke to a customer rep, whose name i did not write down, out of trust, to cancel the svc. i assumed all was fine. in nov i got a rude awakening to discover peoplepc had continued deducting from my bank acct fr the cancelled svc. i called the company, was on hold fr almost an hour, i was told to provide a cancellation number. who in this world will keep a number fr a cancelled svc fr a yr? their customer svc staff, Katrina, who refused to give his last name, was rude and unapologetic. i was equally disappointed with myself to discover i was doing business with a company outside US borders! pse anybody to help?
