Delay in Flight & Missing Onward Connection

1. I had to travel from Delhi to Bangkok on 12 Dec '07. For this travel, my booking was confirmed on Air-India Flight No. AI 814, departing Delhi at 09.00pm on 12 Dec '07 and arriving Mumbai at 10.55pm on 12 Dec '07. The Reservation Code is: KDKEGY. This flight was delayed. Therefore, I missed the connection from Mumbai on Air-India Flight No. AI-6318 for Bangkok. This resulted in missing my appointment at Bangkok. I was made to travel back from Mumbai to Delhi on some another AI flight from Mumbai to Delhi to Bangkok. This resulted in unnecssary stress, hardship, strain, physical discomfort and immense amount of problems.

2. I had gone to Delhi international airport at 6.00pm on 12 Dec '07. The officer at Delhi airport counter booking my luggage told me that Flight AI-814 will be delayed. He approached his senior officer; who displayed a lackadaisical and could-NOT-careless attitude and advised him to book me - anyway. At Mumbai airport the authorities showed me a FAX, which they had sent to Delhi airport to hold me at Delhi and organise for me to go from ther on Thai or any other code-sharing airline. They were themselves shocked that I was sent to Mumbai.

3. Kindly investigate this mis-management and compensate me adequately.
