I applied for a new airtel broadband connection on 01-08 form a airtel marketing personnel for the 'Explorer 1099' plan which features 384kbps during day and 1mbps at night (10pm-6am).

After the connection is installed on 04-08, i come to know that the plan i have been given is 'swift 1099' 512kbps day and night.

I have contacted airtel and asked them to provide the correct plan, but they are refusing to do so quoting that the 'explorer 1099' plan is not available.

Since my usage is mainly at night, this is a severe drawback for me as i am getting only 512kbps at night instead of 1mbps.

Airtel personnel accept that its their mistake, but refuse to honour the plan that I opted for.
