I applied for airtel broadband connection with WiFi modem, TURBO plan (registrtaion number: TBLR 000853) on 4th of August and commited that i'll get the connection within 7-10 working days. I get my broadband connection on 15th of August but instead of WiFi modem, I got a normal modem. When i asked the dealer about the same, he told me that Wifi modems are out of stock. Now, I am waiting for Wifi modems for past one week. And Each time i call to customer care, they told me that i'll get the same within 1-2 days which never happens.
Since they provided us with a normal modem and not a wireless one, I am not able to use the internet freely. The connection is shared by 4 of us in the apartment and since they provided only one LAN wire at a time only one computer can be connected to it. Also since the modem has to be installed at a central place, I cannot use my internet connection from other places in my apartment eg my room or study. This has practically led to the internet connection being useless for me.
