I have applied for enabling roaming faciliy on my telephone no.99343&-- on 09 January as the user was going to Australia on official visit. after necessary preocessing I was intimated that the facility was enabled. After reaching Australia it was found that the SIM was not working. I called Airtel executive Shri Dharmendra Jha (99340-49366) on 18/1/09 about that and he assured me that It will be rectified soon.
On monday (19/1/09), again Mr Dharmedra and Mr Manish (99340-49535) of Airtel office, assured that there is some problem and it would be rectified soon (made 5-6 calls during the day).
After several attempt somehow (as most of the time his phone is engaged and he never takes pain to call and inform the status))I got to talk to Mr Manish today (20/1/09) and the reply was same that they are still trying to make it work.
Now half of the tour is over and I am still waiting.
